1. The service and its status
Happy RSVP currently provides a private invitation-design and RSVP preview. Features, design availability, and service access may change during development. Public customer accounts, email and text delivery, and paid checkout are not active.
These terms are a prelaunch draft. Operator identity, legal contact details, governing law, dispute provisions, and the final acceptance process must be settled before public release. This page does not announce a paid service or a live purchasing agreement.
2. Accounts and access
Accounts are intended for adults who can take responsibility for the events and content they create. Access requires a signed-in account; owner functions require additional authorization.
Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Do not share someone else’s account, misrepresent your identity, or attempt to access an event without authorization. Personal guest links should be shared only with their intended recipients.
3. Your events and guest lists
You are responsible for the event details you publish, the people you invite, and the permissions needed to use their contact details and photographs. Review names, addresses, event times, time zones, and links before sharing an invitation.
Happy RSVP helps organize invitations and responses. It does not organize, attend, supervise, insure, or guarantee the underlying event. Hosts remain responsible for venue arrangements, participant safety, cancellations, and communicating material changes.
Do not add purchased or scraped contact lists, use the service for unsolicited bulk messages, or treat an RSVP as consent to unrelated marketing. Additional rules appear in Acceptable use.
4. Your content and our designs
You retain ownership of content you supply. You give Happy RSVP permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to provide the features you use, including showing invitations to recipients and generating requested exports.
Only upload content that you have the right to use. This includes photographs, logos, artwork, music if a future feature supports it, and personal information belonging to others.
Happy RSVP’s available templates and brand elements may be used as provided in the invitation service. They are not offered as a standalone library for resale, redistribution, or use in another invitation platform. No ownership of the Happy RSVP brand is transferred by using the service.
5. Invitations and responses
Saving a draft, adding a guest, or changing event details does not send a message. Actual delivery will require a separate, explicit sending action when that feature is enabled.
A personal RSVP link acts as access to the associated response. Someone who receives a forwarded link may be able to view or change it. Hosts should review unusual responses and avoid posting personal links publicly.
An opened-link indicator may be triggered by a host preview or automated scanner. When email sending is introduced, acceptance by an email provider will not guarantee placement in a recipient’s inbox or that the invitation was read.
6. Proposed plans and payments
All prices shown in the preview are proposed and stated in U.S. dollars. Checkout is disabled, and no payment is collected through this preview.
The proposed single-event plans count people invited, including household members and plus-ones. The proposed annual pass is a single payment for 365 days with a per-event guest limit and no automatic renewal. These terms may be revised before purchase becomes available.
Final prices, taxes where applicable, plan allowances, refund rules, and any limits will be shown before a purchase. Payments & refunds will be completed before checkout opens.
7. Appropriate use and availability
Do not interfere with the service, upload harmful code, evade access controls or usage limits, or use invitations to deceive or harm others. Content or access may be restricted when there is a reasonable basis to investigate misuse, protect users, or comply with applicable requirements.
The preview may be interrupted or changed, and should not be your only record of essential event information. Keep appropriate copies of your wording and guest-list exports. No uninterrupted-availability commitment is made for the preview.
8. External services
Registry sites, mapping services, video platforms, payment providers, and other destinations linked from an invitation are separate services. Their own terms may apply when you use them. Happy RSVP does not control the content or availability of independent websites.
9. Stopping use and requesting help
You may stop using the preview at any time. Stopping use does not automatically delete saved records. Use Contact us for an account or data-removal request, or remove individual guests through the event dashboard where appropriate.
For support or to report misuse, record a request through Contact us. Requests receive an on-screen reference; there is no automatic email confirmation or response-time commitment in this preview.
Nothing in these draft terms is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Final legal terms will be reviewed for the operator and markets served before public launch.
