1. Our approach
We want Happy RSVP to be usable by people with different access needs. Accessibility is part of how we design the invitation studio, navigation, forms, and guest experience, and it needs continuing testing as the product develops.
2. Features in the current preview
The interface includes labelled form fields, visible focus styling, keyboard-operable navigation and standard controls, expandable FAQs, and a skip-to-content link on pages with the main site header.
Decorative card movement respects the device’s reduced-motion preference. Layouts adapt to smaller screens, and invitation text is rendered as text rather than flattened into the background artwork.
3. Known limitations
The preview has not received a complete independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim conformance with a specific standard or legal requirement. Keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, contrast, and mobile checks must continue before public launch.
Hosts can choose colors, wording, and uploaded images that affect the accessibility of their invitation. Small text or low-contrast combinations may be difficult to read. Essential event information should also be entered in the event details, not placed only inside an uploaded image.
Uploaded photographs and artwork do not currently support custom alternative descriptions. Improving authoring controls and guest-page accessibility is part of the work still needed.
4. Tell us what gets in the way
Use Contact us and choose Accessibility. Tell us which page or feature you used, what you were trying to do, and what prevented you from completing it. Include browser or assistive-technology details only if you want to.
The preview stores the request and shows a reference number. There is no automatic email confirmation or response-time promise. A monitored accessibility contact and response process will be established before public launch.
